Telecommunications Service Technician (Drive Test) - Dominican Republic
Description

We are seeking personnel to support our telecommunications services in the Dominican Republic in the areas of Radio Frequency (RF) and telecommunications equipment implementation.

Only candidates currently residing in the Dominican Republic will be considered. The position is based in Santo Domingo. Travel expenses will be provided if work outside the city is required.

This is a full-time position with a 3-month probationary period.

Responsibilities
  • Execution of field measurements ("drive tests") to evaluate the coverage and service quality of an LTE/5G NR cellular network, using specialized tools.
  • Post-processing and analysis of field measurements and preparation of technical reports of results.
  • Collecting information on-site ("site surveys") and preparing engineering documents for radio base stations.
  • Support for telecommunications equipment installation projects (material logistics management, installation of transport equipment, among others).
Qualifications
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Basic knowledge of file management on PC and Android, software installation and execution.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Desirable but not required:
  • Experience with air interface data collection software for mobile networks: Genex Probe/PHU, TEMS Investigation, Nemo Outdoor, Xcal, or similar.
  • Experience in telecommunications equipment installation projects.
  • Basic English.
