RF Optimization Engineer - Remote
Description
We are looking for RF Optimization Engineers for a three-month project. Experience in analyzing LTE/UMTS performance indicators, optimizing physical and logical parameters for ZTE/Huawei networks, and analyzing drive tests using tools like Nemo/TEMS or similar is required. The job is remote, and availability during office hours in the GMT-5 timezone is required.
Responsibilities
- Analysis of LTE/UMTS network OSS statistics.
- Analysis of LTE/UMTS drive tests to identify improvement opportunities.
- Preparation of optimization recommendations for physical and logical parameters to improve OSS and Drive Test indicators.
- Implementation of logical parameter changes during maintenance windows.
- Monitoring of drive test teams.
Qualifications
- Telecommunications, electronics, systems engineer, or related field.
- 4+ years of experience in similar projects.
- B2 level English proficiency.
- Recent experience with ZTE and/or Huawei networks. This includes proficiency with OSS management tools, RF parameter handling, and performance counters/indicators.
- Experience in drive test analysis using commercial post-processing tools: TEMS Discovery, Actix Analyzer, Nemo Analyze, or similar.
- Advanced Excel skills. Power BI is desirable.
